In general, traveling by air is considered a safe form of transportation. However, when an accident does take place, the results are often tragic. Aviation accidents often result in catastrophic personal injuries and even wrongful death. Crashes can be caused by a variety of factors, but generally involve the following elements – manufacturing design defects, poorly maintained aircrafts and safety standards violations. Aviation accidents can include all aircrafts, including hang-gliders, propeller planes, commercial airliners, gliders, helicopters, corporate jets and ultralights. If someone you love was killed in an aircraft of any kind, you need to discuss your claim with a wrongful death lawyer right away.
